Kogi State Commissioner for Works, Hon. (Engr) Mohamed Ahovi Yusuf, has reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to quality delivery in all its projects.

The commissioner, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Engr Abdulsalam Mohammed Sagir, emphasized this today during a site visit to ongoing projects in Lokoja metropolis.

Engr Sagir, who led a team of Engineers to inspect projects, including the rehabilitation of the roundabout and bridge along Eegoja Gas station, and the AG Road Rehabilitation at GRA, praised Governor Ododo’s focus on infrastructural development in the state. The commissioner, in a statement, said the ministry would not compromise on its mandate, and that supervision is crucial to ensure compliance with standards. He noted that monitoring and evaluation of projects are core objectives of the ministry, and that the governor is committed to transforming the state, leaving a lasting legacy.

Hon Engr Yusuf expressed satisfaction with the progress of work done so far and urged contractors to deliver within the stipulated timeframe. The Resident Engineer, Engr Iyetunde Oye, appreciated the commissioner’s leadership and Governor Ododo’s efforts in driving infrastructural development, promising to deliver quality work on time.

The Kogi State Ministry of Works is known for its transparency, dedication, and integrity in project execution, and this latest visit underscores its commitment to ensuring quality delivery.
